This is a group of those interested in the Latin language - i.e. the Language spoken in the Roman empire and the great poets Cicero, Virgil, Ovid and Lucretius. The idea is to meet, read in Latin and experience this great language.

I'm a weekend treasure-hunter looking for some company on my days off. We will sweep the ground with our metal detectors at vacant lots, playgrounds, old houses, areas of construction (before they lay the concrete). Bring sandwiches, sodas, and let's have a picnic afterwards! I'm also planning trips to beaches, and several sites up in Gold Country to places where real treasurte has been lost or mislaid.
